Local Hack Day was celebrated in e-Rozgaar Center at COMSATS University Islamabad,
Sahiwal Campus in collaboration with Microsoft and GitHub whereas, the COMSATS University
and e-Rozgaar Center were the sponsors.
Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat, Director, CUI, Sahiwal Campus was the Chief Guest.
He appreciated the efforts of Mr. Safdar Ali Deputy Registrar, Mr. Muhamnad Asghar,
Manager e-Rozgaar Center and Mr. Mueez ur Rehman, student of CUI, Sahiwal for arranging
this event.
Hack Day is a global hackathon and celebration of learning, building, and sharing
of innovative ideas globally. It was MLH's 5th year Local Hack Day. In 201u, the
event brought out more than 6,000 participants across 34 countries and 236 cities
around the world. This year's event is shaping up to be the biggest one yet.
Eight universities were selected from all over Pakistan to participate in this event.
COMSATS University, Sahiwal is one of them. Five innovative projects were submitted
by the students of CUI, Sahiwal.
