A one day seminar regarding the awareness of the importance of the waster was conducted
at COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus.A large no of faculty and students
has attended the seminar.The theme of the seminar was Water: The Life.
The seminar was started with the welcome note by Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim convener Dam
Fund Raising Committee. The Invited speaker was Prof. Dr. Habib ur Rehman Athar
from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. Dr. Habib has shared his research expertise
and importance of the water that how water is affecting plants, soil and economy
of the country. He further discussed that how we should play our role by saving
water.
At the end Worthy Director Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat has thanked to Dr. Habib
for sparing time for our faculty as well as students to share his expertise in the
aspect of water and its importance on life. Worthy Director Sahib has emphasized
that its need of the time to save water, to save resources for our next generation.
In light of this, we should realize about the importance of water and its impacts
on plants and humanity. Worthy Director has also thanked Convener Fund raising committee
as well as all committee members to organize this seminar.
