Sahiwal, October 08, 2016:
95th Convocation was held at COMSATS Institute of information Technology, Sahiwal.
302 students were conferred degrees in different disciplines under Management Sciences,
Computer Sciences, Biosciences, Mathematics, Telecommunication & Networking and
Mechanical Engineering.
Eleven (11) students were awarded Campus Gold, Bronze and Silver medals whereas,
three (03) students were awarded Institute Gold, Bronze and Silver medals against
their outstanding academic performance.
Engr. Javed Saleem Qureshi, Chairman, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) was the
Chief Guest whereas, Prof. Dr. S.M. Junaid Zaidi (S.I, H.I), Rector, CTII was he
Guest of Honor.
Pir Syed Imran Ali Shah, MNA, Mr. Muhammad Arshad Malik, MPA, Ch. Nauraiz Shakoor
Khan, Ex Federal Minister, Science & Technology, Ch. Arshad Hussain, Ex President,
Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Media Officials, large number of members
of Civil Society, Parents of Graduating Students, Directors of different campuss
& Principal Officers of CIIT, members of BoG, Academic Council, HoDs, Faculty members,
Officers and staff members of CIIT Sahiwal were also present in the event.
The medals were awarded by Engr. Javed Saleem Qureshi, Pir Syed Imran Ali Shah,
Mr. Muhammad Arshad Malik, Ch. Nauraiz Shakoor Khan and Dr. S.M. Junaid Zaidi.
