Students of COMSATS Sahiwal under platform of Science Club and ASME (CIIT Chapter) participated in different events held at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) on April 21 to 23, 2017.

More than 180 students from seven universities contested in different modules i.e. mind buzzer, t-shirt designing, scavenger hunt, cata bult competition etc.

It is worth sharing with pride that the sudents of COMSATS won seven prizes like Best University Delegations Award, Best Ambassador Award, Winner and Runner up Awards in Mind Buzzer, Runner and Runner up Awards in T-Shirt designing and Winner award in Scavenger hunt competitions.

This is first time in the history of GIKI that students of COMSATS Sahiwal have won Best University Delegations Award and six other awards simultaneously.

The ASME and Science Club arranged prize distribution ceremony in COMSATS Sahiwal which was attended by Dr. Zahiruddin Shaikh, DSA, Dr. Syed Iftikhar Ahmad, Incharge Civil Engineering, Mr. Safdar Ali, Incharge Office of Development, Mr. Arbab Shahid, Head, ASME (CIIT Chapter) and students.

Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat, Director COMSATS Sahiwal graced the ceremony with his presence. He appreciated all participants and congratulated all winning students for bringing laurels for COMSATS Sahiwal. He advised all students to take part in all types of curricular & extra curricular activities and to continue their efforts of bringing laurels for COMSATS Sahiwal in future as well.

The winners were awarded souvenirs and certificates by Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat, Director COMSATS Sahiwal whereas, the Best University Delegation Award was presented to the Director COMSATS Sahiwal by Mr. Arbab Shahid.
