Worthy Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmad Zafar has been appointed as the new Director of COMSATS
University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus.He has been in office for four years.
He has previously served as Professor, Head of Academics and Head of the Department
of Computer Science at COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus.Prof. Dr. Nazir
Ahmad Zafar holds a PhD in Computer Science from Japan with extensive experience
in the fields of education, research and administration. Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmad Zafar
has written more than 150 research papers.He has also hosted several conferences
and events nationally and internationally.
Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmad Zafar has over 30 years of experience working in a number
of renowned national and international universities as well as in research and development
organizations.
Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmad Zafar said that he considers this appointment as an honor
for him. He said that COMSATS University Islamabad is one of the best universities
in the country while Sahiwal Campus has achieved a lot in a short span of time.He
vowed that under the supervision of Rector Comsats University Islamabad Prof. Dr.
Muhammad Tabassum Afzal, he would strive to make the institution more successful
and accomplished.
