Worthy Rector, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Prof. Dr. Muhammad T. Afzal visited
CUI, Sahiwal Campus on Thursday, 11th February, 2021. A warm welcome
and reception given by Director CUI, Sahiwal Campus, Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat,
Academic HoDs/ In charges.
As a teacher, we should be keen to equip our students with modern teaching and research
skills to prepare for Pakistan so that they can offer solutions to the challenges
facing the country and, in this regard, we need to keep material comforts and Financial
benefits aside, we have to work for Pakistan.
It was stated by the Rector of COMSATS University Islamabad Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tabassum
Afzal while visiting Sahiwal Campus.
Campus Director Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat received him and gave a detailed
briefing on the campus's ongoing educational, research, creative, and development
activities.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tabassum Afzal inspected various campus departments and
met the Head of Departments.
Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tabassum Afzal said that there are difficulties and
obstacles in every task, but we should work hard, diligently, and sincerely to overcome.
He said that the profession of a teacher is a prophetic profession, and the teacher
must guide the youth of the nation in the right direction so that the future challenges
of Pakistan can be met.
Finally, he said that the Campus Director, Faculty, and staff's services in making
COMSATS University Islamabad, Sahiwal Campus the most successful university in the
region in the shortest possible time are commendable.
