Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign
national, for the appointment on the following position in the Department of Biosciences,
COMSATS institute of Information Technology, Sahiwal under National Research Program
for Universities – Higher Education Commission project No 5317/Federal/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2016,
titled Developing Breeding standards for bucks based on reproductive performance,
and Estrus synchronization and Artificial insemination for exploiting genetic potential
in goats.

- No of Positon: 01
- Honorarium: PKR. 20,000/- per month
- Contract duration: 01 year (renewable once)
- Qualification/Eligibility: M.Sc.(Hons.)/MS in Biosciences or DVM
Experience
Candidate having prior research experience in the animal reproduction particularly
in goat estrus synchronization, trans-rectal ultrasonography and selection of breeding
bucks based on behavior and semenology.
Project information
The project duration is 24 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis.
The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
